Sugaring (hair removal with sugar caramel)

The procedure allows you to get rid of unwanted hair on the body by applying sugar caramel.  The paste does not contain preservatives, thickeners and allergens. To remove hair, caramel is applied to the skin in a thin layer. The principle of the procedure is similar to wax depilation.


The advantages of this procedure

- Efficiency. When removing hair mechanically, the hair follicle is injured, Immediately after the first application of sugaring, the hair loses its pigment, becomes thinner and softer.

- Sugaring not only gets rid of unwanted hair, but also acts as a peeling.  During this procedure, the surface of the skin is cleansed of dead keratinized cells of the epidermis.

- Safety, during the procedure it is not possible to burn the skin or injure it mechanically.
The smoothness of the skin is maintained for 2-4 weeks.  Sugaring can be done on all parts of the body.


Contraindications for this procedure

- thrombosis of the veins of the lower extremities

- herpetic skin lesions

- rosacea

- skin diseases, inflammation

- diabetes

- it is not advisable to carry out the procedure during pregnancy (especially in the early and late stages).

- Menstruation (high sensitivity to the procedure).


Preparing the body for the Sugaring procedure

- The length of the hair on the treated area before sugaring should be from 4 to 8 millimetres. 

- Peeling. Light scrub. It is important not to scratch the skin, not to cause micro trauma.  In case of inflammation on the skin, the procedure is not performed. Scrubs using natural granules, such as salt or nut kernels, can damage the skin.  Artificial granules are smoother and better to apply, especially in sensitive areas.

- Take a shower.
